Our Philosophy - Build His Churches is dedicated to helping groups plant and grow Christian churches. We are available to any Christian church. Because we originated from the Independent Sacramental tradition (AKA Independent Catholic or Old Catholic), the Mission has a particular interest in furthering the planting and growing of such churches. We support the Community Church model. Build His Churches Mission is a member of the International Council of Community Churches via its parent organization, Ecumenical Ministries International.

Build His Churches Mission has two primary goals:

1. To help establish churches that strive to meet the human need for closeness with God; and work to meet the needs of the homeless, poor, sick, lonely, etc. while upholding their dignity and equality.

2. To empower teams of local clergy and laity who are without the support and backing of a central denomination to raise up their churches by their own power of self-help and self-determination via acquired skills, training, and guidance.

Our philosophy can best be described as follows: "Sincerely believing that the basic tenets Christians hold in common are far more positive, unifying, and effective than those that would tend to divide, members of a Community Church agree to differ, resolve to love, unite to serve. In essentials, unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity." Richard Baxter, Christian reformer and peacemaker, 1615-1691.

Build His Churches Mission is founded on principles of ecumenism and fulfillment of the prayer of Jesus in John 17:21 "That they may all be one." We have no denominational affiliation and support the Independent Sacramental Church Movement and the Community Church Movement of the International Council of Community Churches.

Finally, Build His Churches Mission is a ministry, and not a business. Our services are provided to all who are in need at low cost. Build His Churches Mission is a ministry of Ecumenical Ministries International, which is incorporated as a nonprofit corporation in New Jersey.
